Beneficiaries
Each year, DFRC distributes proceeds from their fundraising events to programs that enrich the lives of Delawareans with intelllectual disabilities. The funds are allocated by a committee of community volunteers and are used as grants and seed money to support programs throughout Delaware.
Over the past 10 years, DFRC has provided more than $2 million to Delaware agencies and organizations serving persons with intellectual disabilities. Since 1956, DFRC has awarded over $5 million in grants to program ranging from educational and recreational to residential and support for vocational rehabilitation.
